Coming soon, UK

Merizo is a UK group payment app. Snap the receipt, users claim their items and pay their share. Each share is added to a virtual card that the host uses to pay the vendor. No one fronts the bill.

Built for UK nights out, dinners, and any table with one bill.

From splitting the bill to settling it, in minutes

No decoding complicated bills. No mental maths. No bank transfers the next week. Merizo handles the split while you are still at the table.

1

Snap the receipt

The host photographs the bill. Merizo’s inbuilt AI scanner pulls out each line item and calculates the total.

2

Invite the table

Share a link. Friends join on their phone. No app is required to start.

3

Claim your items

Everyone selects what they had. Shared plates are split fairly across the group.

4

Everyone pays in

Each guest pays their own amount by card or Apple Pay. Payments are collected until the full bill is covered.

5

Host pays the bill

When everyone has paid, Merizo generates a virtual card loaded with their combined payments. The host uses that card to pay the restaurant.

“The restaurant policy is one table, one bill, but nobody wants to front £700 for eleven people.”

That’s the problem Merizo was built to fix.

Fair splits, zero host subsidy

Other apps track debt. Bank transfers come later. Merizo is built for the moment the bill arrives and one person is expected to pay.

  • Made for one-bill restaurants. When the table only gets one cheque, Merizo still works. You do not need separate bills or a split the waiter cannot do.
  • The host is not your lender. Everyone pays before the table is settled. The host is not left covering £700 and chasing people all week.
  • Fair shares, not even splits. People pay for what they had, including shared dishes split properly. No one overpays just to avoid an awkward argument.
  • Settled before you leave. Card payments are taken at the table. The night ends when you walk out, not when the last transfer lands.
  • Real money, not IOUs. Payments are held, not logged on a spreadsheet. The full bill is covered before anyone goes home.
  • Built for UK group dining. Birthdays, work drinks, and big tables where someone fronting the bill has become normal.

“Group tables should not mean six card taps, a calculator, and ten minutes off the floor.”

Merizo settles the table before the bill reaches your till.

Better for your floor, better for your margins

Big groups are good for revenue. Splitting the bill at the till is not. Merizo keeps service moving and puts one clean payment in your hands.

  • One card, one bill. The table pays with a single virtual card. Fewer transactions means lower processing fees on every group booking.
  • Less work for your team. Servers are not working out who had what or running multiple card payments. They drop the bill and get back to the floor.
  • Faster payments, faster turnover. Less time stuck at the till means tables free up sooner. That is more covers across the same service.
  • Revenue that adds up. Faster payments mean tables turn quicker. Even one extra cover per table, per day, multiplied across every table in the restaurant, is revenue you’re not capturing today.
